Quality Calibrations Inc. is ISO 17025:2017 Accredited.

What is ISO 17025:2017 Accreditation?

ISO 17025:2017 is the international standard used by Testing and Calibration Labs and was issued by the international Organization for Standardization in 1999 and revised in 2017. It is an international standard which specifies the general requirements for the competance to carry out tests and calibrations including Measurement Uncertainty.

ISO 17025 Accreditation ("General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibrations Laboratories") requires more stringent regulations in laboratories - to assure that your pipettes receive the most accurate and precise service.

Quality Calibrations strived for and received our ISO 17025 Accreditation in November, 2008 due to customer demand to meet their increased regulations.

An ISO 17025 Calibration Lab must possess and provide Organizational structure, procedures, process and resources, including:

Measurement uncertainty is related with both the systematic and random error of a measurement, and depends on both the accuracy and precision of the measurement instrument.

Measurement Uncertainty consists of parameters which prevent the exact value of a measurement being known -including the standard deviation of a measurement and the uncertainty of measurement of the balance. Also included are the environmental factors of the lab. Measurement Uncertianly provides increased accuracy in the measurement.
