QCI Mail-In Pipette Services
Whether you choose to take advantage of our convenient On-Site Service or you opt to send your pipettes to us for our Mail-In Service, you will always receive the quality service that we are known for.
For the convenience of our customers and the safety of their pipettes, QCI offers three distinct levels of on-site service: Basic, Platinum and ISO17025 Accredited. We assure that your pipettes will be treated with the utmost care, and handled only by our professionally trained calibration technicians. Each service includes a six month warranty on all parts with each calibration.

BASIC, PLATINUM & ISO17025:2017 SERVICES include::
- Physical inspection of each pipettes
- Analysis of pipette's performance
- Clean, polish and grease (if applicable) all internal components
- Replace seals and/or o'rings in all applicable pipettes
- Replace worn, defective or broken parts
- Reassemble pipettes and inspect for performance
- Recalibrate each pipettes At low, mid and high volume
- Affix calibration label

Basic Service
Basic service is for the laboratory with a minimal budget, but needing exact pipette performance. Pipettes are inspected, pm service performed, worn parts replaced and then recalibrated. Calibration is against ISO8655 or manufacturer’s specifications. Documentation includes Pass/Fail, adjustments made and as calibrated data.

Pipettes are inspected, pm service performed, worn parts replaced, then recalibrated. Pipettes are calibrated against ISO8655 or manufacturer’s specifications. Certificates of Calibration are provided for each pipette – both as found and as calibrated data.

This service is ISO17025:2017 accredited and meets all ISO17025:2017 regulations. Pipettes are inspected, pm service performed, worn parts replaced and then recalibrated against ISO8655 specifications for Accuracy and Precision. Certificate include as found and as calibrated data; uncertainty measurement, statement of Traceability , including test standards and environmental factors.

Field Report Service
The Field Service Report is the most cost effective service available. All pipettes are physically and gravimetrically inspected. Pipettes that pass as found will have no further adjustments and will be marked Pass.
Pipettes that fail inspection as found, will receive a complete pm service, worn parts replaced if necessary and then recalibrated.
